ABOUT GPM METALS
GPM Metals Inc. (GPM:TSXV) is a Canadian based mineral exploration and development company with offices in Toronto and Brisbane.
The Company’s current priority is a systematic reconnaissance exploration program of geological mapping and sampling at the approximately 166,675 hectare Walker Gossan base metal project located in the Northern Territory, Australia.
The Walker Gossan has had very limited exploration work undertaken since the ground was staked by Conzinc Riotinto Australia (predecessor of Rio Tinto) in 1972 due to the implementation of the Aboriginal Land Rights Act of 1976 and opposition to minerals exploration by the Traditional Landowners.
Subsequent political and social developments in Australia, and the progressive outlook of this generation of indigenous leaders, has resulted in a more open stance to development of mineral resources on Aboriginal Land.
Field work prior to the time of staking (1972) consisted of surface sampling of the recognized gossan geological structure.
This project is a recently announced joint venture / earn in agreement with UK based Rio Tinto Mining.
The search for additional projects is ongoing, as the Canadian and Australian based technical staff continues to compile and review a data base of international exploration projects.
The Company board of directors, management and exploration team have demonstrable skills and experience of all facets of mineral development; from grass roots exploration to capital markets and mine builds globally.
The Company is well funded going forward; and has a strong shareholder base. Management and Insiders hold approximately 30% of the outstanding shares.
